Arrow Drawing Puzzle Creator

Arrow Drawing Puzzle is a drawing game for kids where they connect dots according to arrow instructions to generate an illustration.

In this tool, you can create your original puzzles. Connect dots below with your mouse or finger, then press "Print the puzzle" to print out or save the game. You can also insert a background image for tracing, save/load data, and draw unconnected paths.

Instructions

You can create a puzzle by following these steps.

  1. Create the Grid
    Enter the desired grid size and press "Create Grid" to display a dot grid.
  2. Add an image for tracing
    Choose an image using "Insert Image" or paste one using Ctrl + V. It will be displayed semi-transparently in the background.
  3. Connect Dots
    Click or drag across the dots in order to connect them. The first dot will be marked.
  4. Arrow Instructions
    Arrows representing the drawn path will appear below the grid, e.g., "↑2 →3 ↗1".
  5. Print Mode
    Press "Print Puzzle" to show only the grid and arrow instructions for printing. To return, press "Return to Normal Mode".
  6. Jump Mode
    Press "Jump Mode" to jump to another dot without drawing a line (jumps are displayed as ✱ in the arrow instructions).
  7. Show/Hide Image
    Use the "Hide Draft Image" button to toggle the background image visibility.
  8. Undo Path
    Press "Undo Last" or use Ctrl + Z to remove the previous dot. Use "Reset" to clear everything.
  9. Save/Load Data
    Press "Save Data" to export the current path as a JSON file. Use "Load Data" to import a previously saved file.
